Three days of Organizational Development Program (ODP) was conducted for Snehalaya from 24th to 26th, February 2024. It was learning process of 25 years of Snehalaya existence in retrospect, what have been good, the challenges faced and what changes the organization has to make according to the trends and time to fit into the society. In this ODP, everything of Snehalaya has been reviewed from vision, mission, organogram, the management structures, the policies and the activities of the organization as a whole. It was also a process to churn out a new strategies, new processes for the organization which is relevant, effective and forwarding looking with the development of times.
The whole process of Organization Development program (ODP) was guided by Dr. Lukose P. Jacob, the professor of Social work department Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU). Other eminent resources persons for the ODP were Fr. Tony of Dimapur province, Dr. Riju Sharma of Assam Don Bosco University. 40 Snehalaya staffs participated in the organization development program of reviewing, planning, and strategizing.
It was a meaningful, learning and journeying process of Snehalaya which will be documented and made relevant with further scrutinizing and approval of board members.
