On 6th, January 2024, Snehalaya Annual Day and launching of Silver Jubilee year of its services for the children in Need of Care and protection in Guwahati city and in Kamrup Metro was celebrated at Don Bosco School Pan Bazar, Assam.
It was a moment to thank God for the 25 years of Snehalaya existence under the Province of Guwahati and thanking God for the blessings enabling Snehalaya to reach out to thousands of children in Need of Care and protection and making them a good and honest citizens.
To celebrate the Annual Snehalaya Day and for launching the Silver Jubilee Year of its services, one thousand children had gathered with eminent personalities of government departments and other civil society.
The chief guest for Snehalaya Day was Rev. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, the Provincial of Guwahati Province and the eminent guest of honour was Mr. George Maliekel and Dr. Sheila.
The day was marked with thanks giving prayers and cultural programs by the Snehalaya Children both residential and non-residential children.
